PEDCO's mission is to stimulate, diversify and
escalate the economy of the greater Pierre area.
First formed in 1980 as Pierre
Unlimited, the Pierre Economic Development
Corporation has been involved in many aspects of
Pierre’s growth. The Ramkota RiverCentre, Runnings
Farm & Fleet Distribution Center, the new South
Dakota Governor’s Residence and Eagle Creek Software
Services are all examples of an
enthusiastic board of directors and hundreds of
dedicated volunteers united in the cause of building
a better Pierre.
PEDCO is committed to expanding the
area's economy through diversification of employment
opportunities. Companies considering expansion or
relocation will find no red tape, supportive
government and a workforce ethic offering the
highest level of quality, reliability and
productivity.
Incentives, financing, wage and labor
studies, facilities, training and a cost comparison
of doing business in Pierre are all bundled together
to make the site selection process easy.
